In this scholarly journal, they are discussing the previous injuries that have recently occurred to professional snowboarders. There are proven facts that injuries among competitive snowboarders are higher risk than those of leisure. More and more are undergoing knee and back injuries than the normal wrist injury. Out of 258 athletes competing in 3193 total competition days, 135 consisted of acute injuries. In the test conducted, the severity of one of the snowboarders’ injuries was based on the length of time it took to recuperate. Again, Snowboarding can be a dangerous sport.
