Annotation: On this website, I found two videos.  The first was Health: Snowboarding, skiing dangers, and the second was Ahhh spring, one last snowboard injury before we move on to skateboard injuries.  In the first video, it involved a news clip reporting on the increase in snowboard injuries lately.  Many people have had many injuries involving the head.  Experts believe it is vital to wear a helmet for that it will prevent risk of injury and death.  In the second video, it involves a snowboarder jumping off a jump and landing directly on his head.  That just further re-iterates the fact that snowboarding can be dangerous.

Annotation: This website has all of the flickr.com photos I had found that were involved with snowboard injuries.  Some of them are just weird.  Most of the people are severely injured with broken bones or they have huge bruises.  The picture that affects me the most is the one with the chipped set of teeth.  The teeth are completely mangled and ugly looking.  That proves that snowboarding can be dangerous.

Annotation: This website involves some injury related information that goes along with the sport of snowboarding.  They start by telling you a little about the history of snowboarding though.  They also give some major stats on the injury rates in Scotland and other places.  They tell about how many boarders get their skill and they stress the safety factor.  Always be safe when you are boarding.  Many injuries have to do with the wrist but there is a still a large amount that has to do with more important parts of the body as well.  This site re-iterates the fact that snowboarding can be a dangerous sport.

Annotation: In this website, it talks about the common ways to prevent injury while snowboarding.  In other words, it is somewhat of a basic knowledge for how to protect you while boarding out on the mountains.  All beginners should read material like this.  It could help them possibly stay away from injuries and possibly death.  Some of the precautions involve such things as wearing the right type of clothing or a helmet.  Another is practicing your skills.  All are to help you get better and to increase your knowledge that snowboarding can be a dangerous sport.
